Special, exciting, exclusive treat today everyone! The second installment in our "Alternate Timeline" feature, we're posting a demo of a track that'll never otherwise see the light of day.  The song is called 1-800-DARMA-ME and was (very) briefly considered for inclusion on our next, upcoming EP, it was ultimatly discarded in favor of other, better songs.

Rich with grating distortion and auto-tune, its a unique item in Sonic Weapon Fence history.  Download it now, why don't cha?

Last week Thomas Conner at the Chicago Sun Times super kind and talked with us a bit over at the still-new-to-me Chicago Sun Times tower. The old one was replaced by a new Donald Trump hotel, which is also the same tower where Batman fights the Joker at the end of the latest Batman movie.

But, anywho, there is a great, full length article about Sonic Weapon Fence up on their site AND in print.  Check it out.

Sonic Weapon Fence in the Onion AV LOST Season 6 Roundup

Posted January 26, 2010 10:10:21 - No Comments

Though its kind of silly and childish, Sonic Weapon Fence gets giddy and excited everytime we see our names in print.  Even when that print is electronic and saying mostly negative things.  Which is why its all the more exciting to get a positive mention, from that same website (Onion AV Club) just a week-or-so later.

Unrepentant Success at the Mutiny

Posted January 21, 2010 12:00:22 - No Comments
Sonic Weapon Fence just finished a great set at the Mutiny Wednesday. Thanks to all our friends and fam who came to the show. Between the Oktöber-fest sized mugs of beer and whiskey-coke, the friendly faces, and the dank-but-inviting atmosphere, the who thing felt like a huge success. Thanks again! We're looking for more places to play, in Chicago and elsewhere. Check back for details about the long, harsh trips we'll be taking in cramped cars. Namaste
